Cleaning & Care

Almost all of my jewelry consists of sterling silver, fine silver, Argentium sterling silver, 14k gold, 18k gold, and gold vermeil. Some larger accessories are made with brass which can tarnish more easily and may discolor skin or clothing.

Please note that all oxidized and vermeil plated metals will fade and change color over time. I am happy to re-oxidize and/or clean your piece free of charge, though shipping charges still apply.

I use many different types of diamonds and colored gems in my jewelry. As natural materials they do have variation in color and texture so you may receive a piece that looks slightly different than the photo online. Enjoy the unique beauty of your stone knowing there is not another like it!

Though I make all of my jewelry with the highest quality materials and design my pieces for wearability and durability, your jewelry is still delicate. Please store it and transport it with care and limit exposure to water and harsh wear & tear. Stones (even diamonds!) can chip and stones can fall out if the setting gets bent with rough handling. Care for your jewelry as the precious treasure it is!

To clean your jewelry at home scrub it gently with an old toothbrush and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and air dry or dry with a soft towel. Do not use harsh abrasives or scrubbers as this will alter the finish on your metal.

I am happy to offer repairs on products purchased directly from my online store. Repairs are priced on a case-by-case basis, but usually the first repair is free. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on repairs. For repairs on products purchased from other retailers, please contact me directly with your inquiry and I will try to accommodate your request.

Fine jewelry should be inspected by an experienced jeweler every few years (more often if it's something you wear everyday) to tighten the settings, check for damage, and do routine maintenance on the piece when needed. This will ensure a long life for your treasured jewels!

All of my earrings use Argentium Silver ear hooks.  Argentium Silver is hypoallergenic and antibacterial.  All earring designs can be customized to have lever-back hooks or 14k gold ear hooks/posts by request.  Additional fees apply.  Contact me with your request.
